A Relevant Word For Relevant Times

A word from our Pastor Fred L. Jones
The Art of Worship
Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who
walk in the light of your presence, O Lord.            Psalm 89:15

Worship is a learned art.  It is an attitude of the heart that continually  acknowledges God and values His character.  It is an ultimate reflection of reality
in the mind of the believer.  And it is key to blessing.
Observe any Christian who is perpetually struggling with personal flaws or overwhelming circumstances, and you will likely see a Christian whose eyes are on himself.  It is a natural human tendency, but it is rarely fruitful.  Worship changes that.  It gives us a new perspective, taking us out of the realm of oppression-an unnecessary state for anyone who takes the Bible's promises seriously-and placing us in the realm of God's power, wisdom, and love-the realm of eternal truth.  It opens the eyes to what is real.
I want to encourage each of you to embrace the wonders of true worship, and experience the greatest gift God has for you, His Love.  As we come to the end of this year, November 29th marks our two year anniversary as a church family, I thank God for each of your sacrifices  made for this ministry. I have seen us grow spiritually, and grow in our giving, not just with time but also with  treasure.    Our spiritual growth and maturity have come to fruition through the power of prayer and our commitment to worship. It is important for us to continue to support our church through prayer, attendance and commitment to our minitries. One of our greatest accomplishments this year is the start of our chidren's and youth ministry.  As we celebrate with our main campus, our  theme for this year is Change Through Prayer,  I challenge you to pray for increase in our church family.

If you have any special concerns or prayer, please contact Pastor Jones at pastorjones@templeoffaithatfrisco.org

From our Senior Pastor Dr. Jerome McNeil
When a Father Gets Desperate

Desperate fathers know to take their families to Jesus.  We all need a desperate moment where we do not mid pleading to God.  Don't loose your faith when people question you.  Let your Faith bring you through.

Mark 5:22-23
Jesus got into the boat again and went back to the other side of the lake, where a large crowd gathered around him on the shore.  then a leader of a local synagogue, whose name was Jairus, arrived.  When he saw Jesus,  he fell at his feet, pleading fervently with him.  "My little daughter is dying," he said.  "Please come and lay your hands on her; heal her so she can live."
